MY STORY

Hi loves! My name is Kayla, I'm the founder and CEO of D'Vine Jewelry. I proudly manage this business as a solo entrepreneur. What began as a passion project in 2021, when I was just 17, quickly evolved into my full-time entrepreneurial journey. I felt a divine calling to transform my creative passion into a purpose.
D'Vine Jewelry was born from a profound realization: my creative spirit was the answer to my aspirations. After months of prayer and a vivid vision that inspired me to bring my artistic aspirations to life, l launched of my first jewelry collection on Etsy in August 2021.
Each piece at D'Vine Jewelry is thoughtfully designed to accentuate and elevate your inherent energy. I meticulously craft every collection using genuine stones, believing in their power to attract love, luck, and prosperity while providing protection for your unique energy.
MY INSPIRATION
My deepest inspiration has always come from the world around me. However, as an Afro-Indigenous woman, I also draw heavily from my rich cultural heritage.
WHAT DOES BEING AFRO-INDIGENOUS MEAN?
Throughout history, certain Native American tribes and African American communities formed profound bonds, leading to a beautiful exchange of languages, beliefs, and traditions. This connection fostered a vibrant community of blended cultures: Afro-Indigenous people.
When I create my jewelry, I often try to weave in elements from both of my cultural identities. This might involve incorporating specific jewelry styles, or selecting particular stones and colors for their powerful symbolism.
I've always considered myself a natural-born creative and entrepreneur. From crafting Rainbow Loom jewelry to designing duct tape wallets and bags, I've channeled my creativity in imaginative ways since childhood. When you support D'Vine Jewelry, you're not just purchasing a piece; you're supporting the realization of a lifelong dream.
