JEWELRY CARE
My gold jewelry is crafted from durable stainless steel coated with a layer of 18k gold, while my silver jewelry is made from stainless steel.
Although I use the best materials to ensure durability, no gold-plated item will last a lifetime since it's not solid gold. However, if you follow all the care instructions, your jewelry should look D'Vine for many years to come!
JEWELRY CARE
1. Recommended to limit exposure to perfumes, soaps, lotions and excessive water. Constant exposure to these things can remove the shine from your jewelry.
2. Avoid exercising in your jewelry, sweat can cause gold-plated jewelry to tarnish.
3. Avoid constant exposure to water (ie. showering, washing hands, swimming) when wearing gold-plated jewelry.
*Exposure to chlorine water will likely shorten the lifespan of your jewelry*
4. Remove jewelry before going to bed. Necklaces, nose cuffs, bracelets and waist beads are delicate and can be snagged in covers or loose threads; causing them to break.
WEARING YOUR WAIST BEADS
Since all of my waist beads are elastic, I recommend limiting their exposure to hot water. While I don't suggest showering every day with your waist beads on, occasional exposure to water—including chlorine and saltwater—won't damage them!
STORING YOUR JEWELRY
To keep your D'Vine Jewelry looking its best, I recommend storing all pieces in a cool, dry area. This protects your jewelry from humidity, moisture, heat, and airborne chemicals that can damage its finish.
- Nose cuffs should be stored in the mini glass bottle provided in you package.
- Bracelets, rings, and necklaces made from wire are best kept in their original packaging, or any dry/cool area.
Fortunately, waist beads don't require any special storage accommodations!
